Come be at the cutting edge with Adapt in a world-renowned not-for-profit integrative recovery center focused on deploying hands-on rehabilitation therapies and emerging technologies to optimize the rehabilitation potential for anyone that is living with a neurological injury or disease. Adapt's rehabilitation practice revolves around three core pillars: physical health, emotional wellness and community development. Our primary objective when working with any client is to improve the quality of life for anyone impacted by chronic neurological conditions. Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

- Observe a variety of assessments and evaluations of members - Uphold ethical responsibilities, industry standards with a specialization in neurological conditions. - Learn a variety of recovery strategies for different conditions - Assist with a variety of cardiorespiratory, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, body composition, balance, core, and posture modalities. - Learn about comprehensive exercise prescriptions that addresses various physical deficits. - Assist with investigating and assessing the reciprocal relationship between quality and duration of life has with physical activity, body composition (weight management), behavior management, and various psychosocial factors. - Adhere to the Adapt Internship Certification Program. - Learn and support staff with safety guidlines and basic equipment operations. - Learn basic exercise routines to better prepare and assist staff. - Interact with diverse populations in a professional manner. - Maintain a moderate to strenuous workload for sustained periods of time and be able to life 45lbs multiple times throughout the day. - Assist with cleaning and maintaining the facility and equpment. - Represent Adapt in a positive and professional manner at all times. 

Opportunity Training 

- Students will complete the Adapt internal intern certification process
