Opportunity Summary 

Internship will run from January 13th - May 2nd, 2025 (1/13-5/2). This internship is for College/University credit (non-paid). This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of cinema marketing and entertainment production while honing your creative marketing and graphic design skills.

Program Overview:

  • Assist with creating visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various company and client marketing materials, such as social media posts, proposals, website, email
  • Assist with brand development, including contributing to the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, creating brand assets such as logos and visual elements, and ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels
  • Work closely with other departments to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
  • Assist with capturing and editing visual content for marketing purposes
  • Conducting market and trend research such as industry trends, conducting competitor analysis, and gathering insights to inform creative marketing strategies
  • Assist web designer to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages, landing pages, and email templates.
  • Assist with designing layouts for printed materials such as concessions vessels, promotional swag, flyers, business cards, and posters
  • Assist with preparing design files for print or digital production, including ensuring proper file formats, resolutions, and color modes are used
  • Assist with writing and editing engaging and persuasive content for marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, video scripts, and website copy
  • Act responsibly with confidential/sensitive information (signed NDA / Social Media Policy required)

Qualifications + Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited College or University with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Phone and computer with Internet access
  • Available to work for up to 10-15 hours/week
  • Familiarity with Gmail, Google Drive, Dropbox, Adobe Apps, Canva, Slack, MailChimp, Asana, Typeform
  • Strong research skills with a keen eye for marketing and entertainment trends
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in cinema marketing
  • Willingness to assist and take direction from multiple team members
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit is a plus

Training
Intern orientation, weekly team meetings, weekly 1x1 mentor meetings, ad hoc intern peer meetings, skills training, overview/contextualization of assigned tasks, use of organization, communication, & project management tools, and more.

Learning Outcomes

Graphic Design Proficiency: Develop skills in creating visually appealing graphics and layouts for various marketing materials, gaining proficiency in design software and understanding design principles.

Brand Development and Consistency: Learn to contribute to brand development by creating brand assets and maintaining brand guidelines, ensuring consistent visual representation across all marketing channels.

Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with different departments to understand and execute integrated marketing campaigns, enhancing teamwork and communication skills in a professional setting.

Content Creation and Editing: Acquire skills in capturing, editing, and producing visual content, as well as writing and editing engaging marketing copy, to effectively convey brand messages.

Market Research and Strategy: Conduct market and trend research to gather insights on industry trends and competitor analysis, applying this knowledge to inform creative marketing strategies and design decisions.
