Opportunity Summary 

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for After School Program Leaders within the Alhambra Unified School District! Great opportunity to work with youth and develop essential skills for careers in education and leadership!

We are looking for instructional program leaders who will be able to provide a positive and engaging after school learning experience for elementary and middle school students.

Program content is provided, and so is training.

Minimum requirement includes 48 college credits in any subject as well as a live scan background check and tuberculosis clearance.

Tasks:

Accurate sign in and out of all students for the after school program, daily attendance for accurate snack count with the district, active supervision of students at all times, facilitation of curriculum and homework assistance

Training:

Mandatory orientation as well as annual mandated reporter and CPR certifications. Weekly team meetings involving curriculum and classroom management training.

Learning Outcome:

Successfully manage elementary and/or middle school students in a classroom setting. Learn invaluable classroom and behavior management skills, teamwork and problem solving, as well as some of the administrative actions required when working in a classroom/school setting.
