Stockroom Internship | College of CommunicationsAt — CSUF - Titan Communications

Assist in the operation and maintenance of the Stockroom for the College of Communications. Assist with check-out of video and filming equipment, inventory, organization and minor repairs.

Basic requirements:
-Basic knowledge of photo and video cameras and how to use them
-Close attention to detail
-Basic equipment repair and troubleshooting
-Some Knowledge of editing software such as Final Cut, Avid and Premiere
-Personable and Professional
-Some knowledge of production techniques
-Basic knowledge of Mac & PC computers
Duties include:
-Check-in & out rental equipment
-Perform basic equipment repair
-Schedule equipment rentals
-Assist students, faculty or staff with labs, classes and editing as needed

Training:

Comprehensive policy & guideline orientation

Multiple hands-on workshop training days

Working with broadcast television and film equipment throughout semester

Learning Outcomes:

Become an autonomous equipment technician that can make professional decisions in a professional manner with regard to documenting necessary repairs, checkout, and broadcast television and film equipment

Work with Stockroom Coordinator to be sure that all devices and kits are working properly and in a timely manner

Attain leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
