Assistant Coaching InternAt — Mercado Muay Thai & Fitness

Wil be able to greet and assist customer, be able to assist with class preparation and instruction. Be willing to take on and help with tasks around the gym. 

Tasks
The student will be able to teach a basic cardio boxing class without assistance from another coach
The student could instruct a one on one personal training session
The intern will be able to lead a basic muay thai class focusing on technique
The intern will be monitored at all times when providing training or coaching for any members or customers.

Training
On the students first week he will meet with the direct owner and general manager and set expectations and duties will be assigned. The intern will begin by shadowing the instructors during class and other training sessions. The intern will be shown how to instruct and demonstrate to lead sessions. The intern will always be monitored while they are providing training with any customer. The intern will be given daily weekly and monthly reviews on training techniques and coaching styles. The student will be involved in teaching martial arts boxing, muay thai and jiu jitsu classes.
