Opportunity Summary 

The Transformative Justice Center is seeking service learners to support the Empathy in Action: Bridge to Redemption program.  This is an empathy-based program that encourages emotional understanding, forgiveness, and personal growth.

Our Program motto is “Engaging literature, and our own stories, to build bridges of empathy, insight, and healing between the incarcerated and the public.”

Students can join an 8-week service learning volunteer opportunity going into Correctional Training Facility (CTF)  Soledad prison.

  • Mondays from 4-6pm
  • Starting: March 31, 2025

15 service learner spots

Requirements:

  • Computer Literacy
  • Must be available for all 6 of the 8 weeks of the program
