Opportunity Summary 

Hands-on Clinical experience, collaboration with professionals, injury prevention and education, rehabilitation techniques, game and practice coverages, exposure to diverse populations, leadership and communication skills, mentorship and networking.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Assist with injury evaluations and create rehabilitation programs under supervision. Learn and apply techniques such as taping, bracing, and stretching for injury prevention. Work closely with certified athletic trainers, coaches, and healthcare providers. Develop and implement educational programs on topics like hydration, and nutrition. Gain experience in designing and supervising individualized rehabilitation plans. Assist in pre-game preparation, including warm-ups and taping athlete. Work with student-athletes from various sports and skill levels. Develop strong communication skills by interacting with athletes, and staff. Build connections with certified athletic trainers and other sports medicine professionals.
