InternAt — Family Promise of Greater Modesto
We are seeking interns to support our staff and guests as we develop our program to focus on creating a family resource center and support services for our families. Your help in this could look a lot different each day and we will have lots of room for you to be creative in your approach with this! We are a very collabarative work environment and encourage our team to see things that need to happen and then make it happen.
How to create a safe and welcoming environment for guests to Family Promise. They will be able to develop many skills as it relates to event and program management, working with individuals in a professional manner and utilizing resources for these individuals.
Students will be provided with training on the job as well as ongoing assistance and supervision of different activities. They will be provided with a volunteer handbook to help them understand what things are expected of them and to help them develop a professional work environment with our guests and staff.
The main concern of safety is pertaining to keeping both the student and the families safe by respecting our hands off policy and maintaining respectful and professional boundaries.
