Opportunity Summary 

Interns will support our Additive Manufacturing efforts. You will help support the materails testing of metals, in both powder and consilidated form, throughout the full additive manufacturing process. You will play a direct part in the materials qualifications effort leading to the development, certification and production of eVTOL aircraft. 

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Conducting material testing per industry standars (ASTM) and internal standard operating procedures

Operate and maintain microscopes, test fixtures, and other laboratory equipment

Routine sample preparation (including sectioning, mounting, grinding, polishing, etching etc.) for metallurgical evaluation

Opportunity Training 

Safety training, process workflow, machine operation as necessary and one-on-one shadowing.
