Must be enrolled in BIOT 497 and a participant in the COMPASS PROGRAM.

Assist in various conservation projects in the field of avian physiology.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Basic molecular skills required, e.g. pipetting, gel electrophoresis, PCR.

Opportunity Training 

Training includes customized molecular techniques designed for the profiling and study of exotic and endangered species.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Specific lab safety training and Zoo onboarding is required before any work in the lab can be initiated.
