Brand Partnerships & Events InternAt — The deFIANT
As a Brand Partnerships and Events Intern at The deFIANT, you will be an essential extension of our team, directly contributing to the agency's daily tasks and operations. This hands-on, semester-long internship (14-16 weeks) offers a unique opportunity to develop professional skills in the realms of event planning, brand partnerships, media relations & influencer relations. You will gain experience in key tasks such as event coordination, partnership research, and database management, all while learning the ins and outs of agency work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Tasks:
Support the preparation and distribution of event and partnership materials.
Assist in conducting research related to potential brand partnerships.
Aid in planning and organizing client events, researching vendors & creating one-sheet event pitches to our clients.
Help organize and manage documents via Google Drive.
Monitor industry trends and update event and partnership databases.
Contribute to building and updating brand partnership lists and databases.
Assist in organizing and posting content on our agency's Instagram page.
Training:
For training techniques, we conduct everything on a one-on-one basis, we are always directly interacting with our intern. We are open communicators and provide feedback when we provide assignments for our interns. We provide direct feedback as our interns complete their assignments. We will always spend one-on-one time explaining assignments and working with them until they fully understand how to proceed.
Interns will also experience hands-on learning when there are direct partnerships or events that we manage for your clients. They will be a part of the setup, run of show, and breakdown as well. They will be helping with the planning beforehand so that we can have a smooth transition throughout the event.
