Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams on project deliverables

Clerical duties (e.g., file organization or scheduling logistics) will be minimal and limited to what is necessary to support the intern's core learning experience.

To help the intern achieve the proposed learning outcomes, we will:

Provide a structured onboarding and orientation session covering company history, philosophy, core service lines, competitors, and client base (with emphasis on labor unions and public-sector groups).

Include the intern in relevant internal team meetings, client calls (as appropriate), and planning sessions to observe real-world communication strategy and collaboration.

Assign reading and reference materials (e.g., prior communications, benefit guides, brand style guides) to provide context and reinforce expectations.

Offer shadowing opportunities with other departments (e.g., Client Services or Implementation teams) to broaden understanding of brokerage operations.

Apply foundational principles of marketing and communication strategy within the context of the insurance and employee benefits industry.

Analyze target audiences and tailor messaging to union-based populations with unique behavioral and cultural dynamics.
