Opportunity Summary 

The candidate is expected to spend the day with a group of students, where the candidate support all students on academic assistance, constant active supervision, create enrichment activities and fallow curriculum guidance.  

Tasks:

Student will be in charge of a group students, each day the student is expected to create a lesson each day for their students. This includes adapting the activity to the right age group. In addition the student will use classroom management skills to guide/ manage different students behavior. Student is also expected to interact in a professional setting with all students, teachers, parents, and school staff members.

Training:

Student will receive beginning of the year orientation, active supervision training, Behavior management training, classroom management, and Curriculum development. With all trainings there will be a month check in, where the student will be informed of the skills that are being meet, or not. In addition to a senior staff checking in on them weekly and supporting them on a daily biases.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to use classroom management skills to be to teach a set of students, they also will have learn behavior management, social emotional learning, and curriculum development and implementation.
