Communications Assistant (Project Assistance)At — Monterey Museum of Art

Opportunity Summary 

A marketing, business, or art student wanted to help create social media and communications guidelines for the Monterey Museum of Art. The student will be part of the team to develop communication policies while working in a highly creative and lively environment. The student will collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop communications best practices, and a unified and consistent voice, particularly within social media. And snacks abound!

1 Service Learner Slot

Opportunity Training 

The student will receive training in written, oral, and digital communications. Students will also be trained in standard business communications products including Microsoft Office, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and Descript.

Opportunity Supervision

The student will lead the project with support and guidance from both the Marketing Associate and the Director of Marketing and Communications. These include an initial project brief and typical samples, regular project review check-ins, and participation in weekly status meetings.
