Opportunity Summary 

Duties:

  • Assist with quality checks (QC) on edited video projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, or a related field.
  • Brings positive energy and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and positive under pressure and during tight deadlines.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Tasks:

The intern will support the Post Production Manager in organizing and archiving ongoing and completed projects within the company. They will be responsible for generating and captioning incoming video content, as well as conducting quality control (QC) checks. The intern will verify that all files submitted by editors meet the company’s technical specifications and assist in identifying any issues in final products prior to client delivery.

Training:

Training will first consist of teaching the intern how our company works and operates so they have a better understanding. Then the intern will be learning hands-on our post-production workflow. Once the intern is comfortable with our workflow and ready they will support ongoing development of projects. Throughout the internship, the intern will engage in job shadowing with the Post Production Manager gaining insight into working with editors, quality control, and delivery workflows. The intern will participate in weekly one-on-one meetings with the Post Production Manager. These check-ins will offer feedback, answer questions, and provide guidance on active projects and skill progression. Additionally, throughout the internship, training sessions will be provided to help the intern grow their proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. The training approach emphasizes hands-on experience, collaborative learning, and consistent mentorship to help the intern build confidence and readiness for professional post-production work.
