Are you looking for a chance to stretch your creativity, share new ideas, and create compelling social media content—including video reels? Community Builders for Monterey County (CBMC) is looking for passionate volunteers to join our Social Media Team!

You will be:

  • Develop and implement engaging campaigns that educate, inspire, and mobilize people to take action through volunteerism and civic engagement
  • Brainstorm collaboratively with others to post new ideas and content formats that resonate with our community

*Bilingual to translate materials would be helpful 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A curious mindset and willingness to learn
  • Strong writing skills
  • Social media experience
  • Bonus: Graphic design or video/reel creation experience

This is a remote-first role with flexible hours, but you’ll be expected to check in with the team on a weekly basis.
