We are currently seeking a high energy Coach to join our ROCKSTAR team! We are Amazing Athletes, the leading educational sports program for children ages 18mos to 12. At Amazing Athletes we teach kids the basic skills and fundamentals of 10 sports. Basketball | Football | Soccer | Volleyball | Tennis | Hockey | Golf | Lacrosse | Baseball | Track & Field
By the end of the Amazing Athletes Coach internship, the intern will have learned: How to plan and lead engaging sports and movement-based lessons for children ages 18 months–12 years Effective classroom management and positive behavior reinforcement techniques Strategies for adapting activities to meet diverse developmental needs Communication and relationship-building skills with parents, teachers, and administrators Time management and organizational skills for a multi-class schedule Basic business operations within a youth enrichment program How to foster confidence, teamwork, and a love for physical activity in young athletes
You will be provided training videos, curriculum each week and onsite observations
Describe any experience you have working with children. Include ages, settings, and responsibilities. What sports or physical activities are you most comfortable teaching or leading? How do you motivate children who are hesitant or shy to participate in activities? What skills or qualities do you hope to develop through this internship? Do you have reliable transportation to travel to different school sites? Are you currently enrolled in a college or training program related to Early Childhood Education, Physical Education, or a similar field?
