In-home developmental specialist offering infant stimulation services using a play-based approach. 

Tasks:

Providing in-home support to the client and families, completing a progress note, sharing resources, attending monthly trainings, scheduling families in a timely manner, completing reports when assessments are due.

Training:

Training includes orientation, how to conduct an assessment, behaviors support, shadowing supervisors and/or experiences developmental specialist, support from supervisors in person and 1-1 meetings.

Learning Outcome:

Identify child's cues
Learn behavior strategies to provide to the families
Complete a Day C assessment
Reading an Individualized Family Services Plan (IFSP)
