VolunteerAt — Mama's Kitchen
Volunteer opportunities include meal plating, meal prep, meal delivery, building grocery bags, delivery bag staging. Students can mix and match activities as they choose fit.
Students will learn or deepen their knowledge of the importance of nutrition in managing chronic and serious illnesses, the impact of food insecurity on health outcomes, and how medically tailored meals contribute to the healing and well-being of vulnerable populations. Students will also gain insight into the operations of a community-based food and nutrition support organization.
On the job training will be provided
-Students are only expected to use a personal vehicle if they choose to deliver meals. Students are not required to participate as delivery drivers. -There is an online application and orientation to be filled out prior to starting with us.
