Opportunity Summary
-Lead intern on research projects related to land use, capital projects, homelessness, law enforcement, code enforcement, and other policy areas. -Assist policy advisors with drafting Board letters. -Prepare briefings for the Supervisor on legislative items aligned with his priorities. -Manage constituent communications by coordinating with County departments and providing updates on project status.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Interns will be able to fully own the lifecycle of a policy item including research, writing and oral briefing.
