Opportunity Summary 

The intern will be a teaching assistant for the capstone - entertainment and tourism class.

Learning Outcomes  

1) Learn effective teaching strategies and how to make information interesting and relatable to students.
2) Gain hands-on experience assisting in course instruction, such as class activities, discussions, and student learning.
3) Assist in providing constructive feedback to students on their assignments.
4) Support students by answering questions, encouraging participation, and helping them succeed in the course

Training  

1) Help the student put together informative lectures that help students
2) Help the student how to develop a grading rubric
3) Help the student develop tactics to increase student participation.
4) Help the student develop tactics to provide constructive feedback.

Tasks/Duties  

1) helping the professor grade assignments like case studies
2) developing a grading rubric and receiving feedback
3) organize and present a lecture.
