Opportunity Summary 

The Social Media Content Organizer & Scheduler Intern will participate in a structured, supervised internship designed to provide hands-on experience in social media operations, content management, and digital marketing workflows. This role emphasizes organizational skills, strategic planning, and exposure to professional marketing tools within a real-world brand environment.

Under the supervision of the Creative Director the intern will support content organization, caption preparation, and scheduling processes while learning how consistent social media execution supports brand visibility and audience engagement.

Tasks:

Maintain and update the Workflow Control Center spreadsheet to track content status and deadlines

Organize and manage digital files in Google Drive using established folder structures and naming conventions

Draft social media captions in alignment with brand voice and messaging guidelines

Schedule approved content using Metricool, following the established content calendar

Monitor scheduling to ensure consistent posting cadence is maintained across platforms

Communicate with the supervisor regarding content readiness and updates

Training:

Students will receive a structured onboarding and ongoing training program to support learning outcomes. Training will begin with a general employer orientation, including an overview of the brand, social media goals, content standards, and professional expectations.

The intern will receive training on content workflow systems, including the Google spreadsheet, Google Drive organization standards, and approval processes. Additional training will be provided on caption writing, brand voice guidelines, and platform-specific best practices.

The supervisor will provide hands-on instruction in content scheduling tools, including Metricool, covering scheduling procedures, calendar planning, and quality control checks. The intern will participate in weekly one-on-one mentor meetings to review progress, receive feedback, and discuss workflow improvements.
