Opportunity Summary 

Are you passionate about supporting the immigrant community and ready to gain real legal advocacy experience? LATINAN is offering a unique opportunity for CSUMB students to become DOJ-Accredited Representatives and directly support immigrant families in our region.

3 Service Learner Spots

Selected students will:

  • Receive DOJ-Accreditation training through CLINIC
  • Commit to a minimum of 6 months (part-time)
  • Work in person or remotely — your choice
  • Shadow a Senior DOJ-Accredited Representative
  • Help represent clients under supervision

LATINAN will fully cover the cost of CLINIC training for up to three (3) CSUMB students.

Our offices are located in Salinas, Hollister, and Gilroy, and this opportunity is designed for students who want to give back while building meaningful skills. Opportunity Training 

In office direct training but we will also cover the cost of COIL class from Clinic. It's an overview of Immigration Services.

Opportunity Supervision

In person and remotely bi-weekly meetings.
