EOPS/CARE/Calworks InternAt — Cypress College

The intern will work with our EOPS/CARE & CalWORKs students by assisting with the coordination of activities and workshops for our single-parent students. This includes: non academic advising, resource coordination and development, marketing and promotion of program activities, and co-curricular student support. 

Tasks:

Student will assist in coordinating student success workshops and activities in support of our EOPS/CARE & CalWORKs Programs.

Training:

Student will receive the following training:
-Bi-weekly meetings with the Program Director and Coordinator
-Intern orientation
-Shadowing and assistance with coordination of program activities and workshops

Learning Outcome
