SP26 CST462: No-Code App Builder Prototype – Lost Pet Support (Early-Stage Feasibility)At — The Life of Kai: Compassion Connections Inc.

Opportunity Summary

** Reserved for CST462 Students**

This project explores whether a no-code app builder can meaningfully support rapid prototyping within one academic term, and whether such tools offer practical value for nonprofit work under real time and resource constraints.

Students will design a visual, working prototype that mimics the early logic of a lost-pet support app, including:

  • reporting and mapping a lost pet,

  • proximity-based awareness,

  • reporting and mapping sightings,

  • and demonstrating how information would flow back to the reporting guardian.

Students will research 2–3 app builders, select one within defined constraints, justify their choice, and document what the tool supports well and where it falls short. The prototype is intended for learning and feasibility exploration, not public deployment.
