Brand Marketing InternAt — JoinBiome, Inc.

Opportunity Summary

About Biome

Biome is one of the fastest growing and the very first outdoor social media platform, built for real-world experiences rather than just screens. From hiking a trail to catching a sunset after practice to late-night snack runs with your crew, Biome is where those everyday adventures live on.

Our mission is simple: help young people get outside, make memories with friends, and share the moments that actually matter.

Founded by Princeton grads, an Ironman founder, and D1 athletes from top schools, our team lives the lifestyle we’re building for. Now we’re opening the door for a select group of college students to join us as Brand Ambassador Marketing Interns — shaping how the next generation discovers and shares real-life moments.

What You’ll Do

This is an educational internship designed for students who want real-world startup experience in marketing, product, or social strategy — especially if you’re curious about tech, content creation, or helping build something from the ground up.

  • Use and explore the Biome app to become an expert on the platform
  • Provide feedback on features and user experience (you’ll have early access)
  • Help design and share content that captures Biome’s outdoorsy, authentic vibe
  • Brainstorm and test growth strategies — from social trends to campus outreach
  • Share creative ideas for brand, product, and community campaigns
  • (Optional) Contribute directly to Biome’s online presence through posts, reels, or ambassador highlights

What You’ll Gain

  • Resume-building experience at a real social tech startup
  • A personalized letter of recommendation from the Biome founding team
  • Early access to unreleased features and insider strategy
  • Priority consideration for future paid ambassador or marketing roles
  • A unique chance to help shape a company that’s growing fast — and doing it differently
  • A portfolio of creative work you can showcase in future applications
  • Direct mentorship from Biome’s founding team and access to a growing network that includes entrepreneurs, athletes, and professionals from top tech and venture firms

You’d Be a Great Fit If You

  • Are a current college student or recent grad (high school seniors considered for ambassador track)
  • Love social platforms like Instagram, BeReal, or TikTok — but want something more meaningful
  • Enjoy being outside, making memories, or trying new things with friends
  • Have a curious, self-starting attitude and aren’t afraid to share ideas
  • (Bonus) Have experience in content creation, branding, or tracking social trends
