Opportunity Summary 

Valuable patient interaction experience with assisting with exercises for physical therapy patients as well as direct mentorship from experienced PTs and PTAs. Fully supervised training that progresses from observation only to gradually becoming independent with tasks (though the student intern will always have 100% supervision).

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Patient care, therapeutic exercise knowledge, scheduling, organizational skills, time management, multi-tasking, anatomical/physiological knowledge, and learning the ins and out of a private practice outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic.

Opportunity Training 

Direct supervision and 1 on 1 training throughout the experience will be provided ensuring student success. The student will not be working with vulnerable populations.
