Opportunity Summary 

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Content Contractor to manage and grow
multiple social media accounts across Instagram and TikTok. This is a short-term,
performance-based contract with the opportunity for continued collaboration and growth within
the role based on results.

Tasks:

Manage ten (10) total social media accounts, including five (5) Instagram and five (5) TikTok accounts, using company-provided equipment.
Maintain mirrored branding and posting consistency across platforms, including usernames, captions, formatting, and scheduling.
Develop and execute content strategies tailored to assigned niches and audience goals.
Source, evaluate, and curate content independently, including repurposed and original short-form video materials.
Edit and produce platform-optimized short-form video content using current trends, audio, and engagement techniques.
Publish daily content across all assigned accounts while ensuring quality control and adherence to brand standards.
Monitor performance metrics and analyze engagement data to refine content strategy over time.
Demonstrate professional workflow management, communication skills, time management, and responsiveness to supervisory feedback.

Training & Supervision Plan
Students participating in this internship will receive structured training and ongoing support designed to facilitate learning outcomes and professional development throughout the placement.
Initial General Employer Orientation (Mandatory):
At the start of the internship, students will participate in a formal orientation that introduces the organization’s mission, digital platforms, workplace expectations, communication standards, and internship objectives. This session will include an overview of company policies, timekeeping procedures, and professional conduct guidelines.
Role-Specific Onboarding & Task Overview:
Interns will receive a detailed walkthrough of their responsibilities, including content batching, editing workflows, posting schedules, and platform-specific best practices. Supervisors will provide contextual explanations of how each task contributes to broader marketing and audience growth goals.
Job Shadowing & Demonstration Training:
During the initial onboarding period, interns will observe experienced team members completing daily tasks. Supervisors will demonstrate content sourcing, editing techniques, caption formatting, and posting procedures prior to interns working independently.
Provision of Work Samples & Training Materials:
Students will be given sample posts, example edits, caption templates, brand guidelines, and reference materials to support consistency and quality standards. Written documentation and visual examples will be available for ongoing reference.
Hands-On Skills Training:
Interns will receive instruction in:
Short-form video editing techniques
Platform optimization for Instagram Reels and TikTok
Content trend analysis and audio selection
File organization and batching workflows
Training will be reinforced through guided practice and real-time feedback.
Ongoing Supervision & Mentorship:
Interns will participate in scheduled check-ins with their supervisor to review progress, discuss performance metrics, address challenges, and refine workflows. Feedback will be continuous and focused on skill development and professional growth.
Performance Review & Learning Assessment:
Throughout the internship, students will receive performance evaluations based on productivity, content quality, consistency, and adherence to posting guidelines. Learning outcomes will be assessed through task completion, skill improvement, and demonstrated understanding of digital media operations.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to:
1. Demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously, including scheduling, posting frequency, and maintaining consistent branding across platforms.
2. Create and edit short-form digital content optimized for engagement, utilizing platform trends, audio, pacing, captions, and visual storytelling techniques.
3. Apply effective content organization and workflow strategies, including batching, file management, and daily production planning to meet high-volume posting requirements.
4.Analyze basic performance indicators (such as views, engagement, and follower growth) to understand how content strategy impacts audience reach.
5. Exhibit professional workplace skills, including time management, attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to follow structured creative guidelines in a fast-paced digital environment.
