Opportunity Summary 

Student will get the opportunity to work with children in a classroom setting.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

By the end of this opportunity, student will have learned skills need to work with children. As well as other skills necessary to run a classroom effectively.

Opportunity Training 

Student will get the opportunity to shadow an elementary level teacher. Student will learn the necessary skills for running a classroom, including: classroom management, de-escalation skills, behavior management, relationship building, lesson delivery and more.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Student will have the opportunity to supervise students during recess/ physical activity. Student may come into contact with sport equipment if it is being utilized by children that day/ time.
