Front Desk AideAt — Integrative Medical Institute
Aide will assist in acting as point of contact between clients and therapist. Assist with patient intake processes including the overview of medical records and insurance collection. Send necessary medical records to requesting parties in compliance with HIPPA policy.
Participate in patient intake, scheduling, and documentation processes under supervision. Communicate professionally with patients, therapists, and healthcare staff in person and by phone. Observe clinical workflows and interprofessional collaboration. Receive ongoing feedback from supervisor regarding ethical conduct.
Training:
Under supervision of designated clinical and administrative staff, receive guidance on HIPAA compliance, confidentiality standards, and appropriate professional boundaries when interacting with patients and healthcare providers. Training will include observing and participating in patient intake procedures, scheduling, documentations, and front-office workflows that support clinical care.
