Opportunity Summary 

• Under supervision assists in the provision of information, maintenance of databases,
report production and routine data analysis. Work is reviewed for completeness,
accuracy and soundness.
• The Systems, Solutions & Deployment (SSD) department supports mobile device
configuration and automation and reporting.
• Mobility device automation projects and supporting SSD Communications and PMO.

Tasks:

• Collecting and Tracking Data: Gathering and organizing various reports and summaries, such as budget versus actual expenditures, production statistics, and service utilization records.
• Data Analysis: Performing tasks to collect and analyze data, and fulfilling ad hoc data requests as needed.
• Preparing Reports: Creating graphs, spreadsheets, and reports using office software.
• Database Maintenance: Regularly updating databases by entering new data and extracting relevant information from different sources.
• Generating Reports: Executing predefined queries to generate established reports.
• Scheduling: Arranging conference calls and meetings.
• Supporting Presentations: Assisting in developing presentation materials.

Training:

Our department provides an orientation covering the Systems, Solutions & Deployment (SSD) department, tools, workflows, and data standards. The student will receive hands-on training in mobile device configuration, automation, and reporting. Ongoing training will occur through supervised, task based work with regular feedback during a weekly check in. Completed work will be reviewed for accuracy and completeness. The student will also receive mentorship through
participation in team meetings, project discussions, and presentation support activities to strengthen professional communication and collaboration skills.

Learning Outcome:

Throughout the internship, interns will gain valuable experience in learning to collect, analyze, and present data effectively. You will develop skills in database management, report generation, and supporting project communications through scheduling and presentation assistance
