Children's Ministry InternAt — Hana Church

Work with students during Friday and Sunday services.

Tasks:

Integrate Christ-centered values into instructional strategies and classroom interactions.
Plan and prepare age-appropriate, Bible-based lessons aligned with children’s ministry goals.
Collaborate with ministry leaders to plan lessons, review curriculum, and support program goals.

Training:

Student will attend an orientation and go through one week of shadowing before working with another teacher for another two weeks. Then, they will be able to take over a class by themselves.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able plan and lead Bible-based lessons that are age-appropriate and engaging,
facilitate small-group discussions centered on faith and character, and build trusting, positive relationships with children through mentoring.
