Contract ProgrammerAt — Featur
Featur’s mobile app programmers will help bring our early-stage app concept to life. This role focuses on building the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) version of our iOS application. You will work closely with the product designer to develop a clean, scalable, and intuitive app experience. You’ll translate Figma-based UI designs into fully functional code, integrate backend systems, and lay the technical foundation for future growth. This is a part-time or contract-based opportunity with flexible hours.
By the end of this opportunity, student developers will gain practical, resume-ready experience across multiple areas of app development and product collaboration: • Technical Skill Development (End-to-End iOS App Development, UI Implementation from Design Files, Backend Integration, App Store Deployment) • Product Development Experience (MVP Execution, Bug Tracking & Feature Polishing) • Collaboration & Communication
1. Onboarding Session All programmers will begin with a guided onboarding session, where they will be introduced to the app concept, user flow, technical requirements, and collaborative tools: • Overview of the Featur app’s vision and MVP goals • Walkthrough of the Figma prototype and feature roadmap • Introduction to tools used (Xcode, Firebase, GitHub, etc.) • Explanation of the development checkpoints and timeline 2. Technical Resources Students will receive a shared folder of resources and use Discord to track documents: • e.g. Figma design files, Database setup, Authentication flow architecture
