Pharmacy Technician InternAt — Global RX Pharmacy

Intern will be responsible for organizing inventory and regulate the records. Intern will be trained to recognize medications and follow safety guidelines.

Tasks:

Intern will assist with data entry, medication preparation, and organizing, all under pharmacist technician supervision. They will manage inventory by stocking and monitoring expirations. They will also participate in quality assurance activities, training reviews, and supervised clinical support to demonstrate professional competency.

Training:

The intern will receive training designed to support their learning outcomes. There will be an orientation that covers workplace policies, safety procedures, and pharmacy regulations. Intern will participate in job shadowing with a pharmacy technician to observe daily workflow, followed by supervised practice of assigned tasks.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to demonstrate foundational pharmacy skills. They will be trained with assisting prescription processing and inventory management.
