Opportunity Summary
After School STEAM Educator positions entails supervising groups of students (1-10) aged 4 to 10 years old. Teacher guides students through STEAM based hands on activities.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Students will learn classroom management techniques, how to lead engaging STEAM lessons age appropriate for UTK - 5th grader students, and how to make learning fun!
Opportunity Training
Student with shadow and assist on site after school staff until they learn the flow of the program to eventually step in as a lead teacher. Student's will learn effective attention getters, validations, brain breaks, and line games to maintain attention from the students to promote a safe and engaging environment. Training lasts for the first two weeks a new teacher is with us.
