Youth Advisory Committee- Youth Community Access ProgramAt — Multi-Ethnic Collaborative of Community Agencies (MECCA)

Participants in the Youth Advisory Committee will be between the ages of 17-26 yrs old. The Committee will be mentored and collectively assist with planning and implementing 3 large outdoor and cultural events in Orange County, with the goal of giving youth from underserved backgrounds more access to nature and culture and experience the mental health benefits of that exposure. The planning process will include event planning, social media campaign building and marketing/ outreach for participants. These events will be planned to impact over 60 participants in Orange County throughout the first year.
