Teaching in a classroom setting with a mentor teacher. Learning classroom management skills with a balance of understanding the social/emotional needs of every student.

Tasks:

Allow observation of mentor teachers to learn the best practices
Model and allow instructor-led training
Provide Interns with access to webinars and Professional development
Allow intern to observe children's behavior in various settings
Allow teacher to create lesson plans and give feedback until intern is comfortable with the skills learned

Training:

New mentor orientation and explain all expected learning outcomes.
