Physical Therapy AideAt — Rausch Physical Therapy

As an aide serve the Rausch Team by providing quality patient care, facilitating the Physical Therapists plan of care, and helping manage smooth clinic operations. 

Tasks:

-Administer exercise programs based on plan of care for patient (80-90% of time)
-properly administer modalities such as ice, heat, TENS, NMES, laser to help patients reach their goals
-update patients exercise charts and online platform to ensure adherence with exercise program
-check in with Physical Therapists on progress of patients care including but not limited to: difficulty of exercises, pain associated, progressions needed, ect
-maintain cleanliness of clinic and smooth operations through cleaning tables, laundry, cleaning equipment, ect.

Training:

-Initial orientation
-HIPPA training
-Shadowing with another physical therapy aide
-1:1 training with aide manager
-Physical therapist mentorship

Learning Outcome:

-know how to cue exercise, the why behind them, and help modify plan of care for a patient based on Physical Therapists plan of care
-work with people of various backgrounds and modify to meet their needs
-excel in a fast based and high quality of care clinic
