Opportunity Summary 

Intern will gain hands-on experience in restoration of coastal habitats. Activities will include, but not limited to, non-native removal, debris removal, soil remediation, native plant installations, and native plant care. In addition, interns and service learners will gain experience propagating native plants within the LCWA Native Plant Nursery.

Tasks:

Activities will include, but not limited to, non-native removal, debris removal, soil remediation, native plant installations, and native plant care.

Training:

The student will receive in-person, hands-on training to learn restoration techniques and nursery skills to assist in our mission to restore habitat.

Learning Outcome:

The student will learn to propagate plants.
The student will learn to identify at least 3 plants.
The student will learn 2-3 restoration techniques.
