This camp is based on the idea that building, testing, observing, and reflecting are the best ways for youth to learn. Youths investigate how real-world systems function through practical STEAM experiences, from electrical circuits and bridges to fire safety and clean water infrastructure.

Every day, engineering concepts are connected to community design, environmental systems, and practical career paths. To help Youth see themselves in a variety of options, they are exposed to various careers stemming from universities, community colleges, CTE pathways, skilled trades, and public service careers.

Through the integration of workforce awareness, systems thinking, and cultural design, the program teaches youth not only how things operate but also how they might contribute to the development, preservation, and enhancement of their own communities in the future.
