Program Intern-Student Facilitator- Fall 2026, Unpaid PositionAt — Girls Inc. of Los Angeles
The Program Intern-Student Facilitator will assist in various areas of the Girls Inc. afterschool program in partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District. This unpaid position is on-site at our West and /or South Los Angeles schools. Interns will be required to travel to their school site for a minimum of 3 hours per afternoon, twice a week. Interns will learn about program facilitation, classroom management, and program engagement in subjects related to STEM and the arts. To provide program facilitation, classroom management strategies, curriculum development, group lesson plans, program administration, and building community engagement with families and students.
Student engagement and mandate reporting training.
Girls Inc. of Los Angeles shall provide all training necessary for the Intern to be able to perform their required duties effectively, safely, and responsibly. Interns will be provided access to virtual meetings/trainings as necessary
