Opportunity Summary 

At ROID, our mission is to create a healthier tomorrow by empowering humanity with adaptive and community-driven technology that reimagines human potential. We are building a fitness-focused social network that connects individuals with friends, trainers, and communities. Simultaneously, we provide tools to follow training programs, track workouts, log nutrition, and celebrate achievements. In order to expand we want to focus on 3 audiences:

  1. Beginners who want to go to the gym but have no idea where to start
  2. Gym Coaches/Trainers who want to expand their programs and their corses 
  3. Gym Influencers who want to build their fitness brand 

As an intern your job will be to create an advertising campaign by finding a way to reach out to all these 3 groups, you will also manage our social media platforms, create a content calendar, enhance Roid’s digital presence and overall have hands-on experience with the development of the campaigns branding and marketing.

Tasks:

Pairing research with product. Collect data and research on what can help the brand grow and focus, and find what angle we should approach consumers with.

Content creation
use software such as Adobe or Canva to create Visually Pleasing graphics that can be used on our social media platforms.
Use software to edit videos into short form content for platforms such as tik tok and instagram.

Plan your advertising and marketing campaigns around our 3 targeted audiences
Beginners
Coaches
Influencers.
Research Trends that can be applied within our advertising and marketing campaign and make sure they are appropriate for each platform that they will be posted on

Analytics Tracking. Keep up to date with which videos or posts perform well and see what makes them stand out from the videos or posts that didn't perform well.
Look at how they performed, what time they performed well, which audiences they performed well for(etc.)

Platform Management. Make sure to stay on top of your posting schedule for the advertising and marketing campaigns, pair up which videos and posts belong on which platform and tailor them to each social media platform.

Bi-weekly Reports. Compile a summary on what worked, what didn't work, how it worked, and more importantly which audiences did it reach and if we are doing anything to alienate any other audiences.

Training:

Weekly one on one briefs, explanation of the tasks at hand with objective goals and targets.
Initial orientation who Roid is and what roid can be
Supervisor’s guidance such as troubleshooting ideas and ease of contact through email, zoom, and text.

Learning Outcome:

Real world experience with managing a business's social media platforms
Greater knowledge of algorithmic feedback from social media platforms
Application of data and research into useable graphics for social media
Planned and created a media campaign for Roid fitness
Created a synergy amongst all ads in all social media platforms connecting to the media campaign.
Collaborative skills in a remote environment by having supervisor feedback but greater creative control on projects.
