Anaheim YMCA Sports InternAt — Anaheim Family YMCA

Looking to get hands-on experience in sports, youth development, or recreation? Join our team as a Sports Program Intern and be part of a fun, fast-paced environment serving our community!

Tasks-

Students will assist lead and staff with coaching teams and/or leading classes and clinics.
Students will assist with setting up for classes and practices including, but not limited to, setting up cones, barriers, gymnastics mats, nets, etc.
Students will meet regularly with directing staff to review program requirements.
Students will give coaching and mentoring to youth participants
Students will communicate with parents and/guardians on a regular basis

Training

Students will need to complete an online training provided by the Anaheim Family YMCA. After screening process is complete, interns will meet with program director to complete an orientation and hands-on training.
