Opportunity Summary 

In this role, you won’t just manage programs—you’ll help shape meaningful experiences for youth and families every day. As an Assistant Director, you’ll support the daily operations of our programs, mentor and guide staff, and create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every participant feels valued. You’ll play a key role in building strong relationships with students, families, and school partners while ensuring programs run smoothly and with purpose. We’re looking for someone who is organized, adaptable, and driven by a genuine passion for working with youth. Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

The Assistant Director will learn trauma-informed practices to better support foster youth, understanding how past experiences may impact behavior, trust, and emotional needs. This includes creating a stable, predictable environment, using positive behavior support strategies, and responding with patience and empathy. For students with disabilities, the supervisor will ensure the Assistant Director is trained on inclusive practices, accommodations, and individualized support strategies. This may include collaborating with school staff, following IEP/504 guidelines when applicable, and adapting activities so all students can safely and meaningfully participate.
