Social Media and Content Associate InternAt — Precious Stone PR Inc

The intern will create content for social media outlets based on the needs of the clients we serve. It includes interviews, writing showrt and long version bios, designing posts on Canva, producing analytics reports, and other functions that may come up in the marketing and public relations realm.

Tasks:

The tasks are like the outcomes. In a weekly meeting, tasks are assigned and follow ups occur throughout the week to make sure all is clear. The intern will conduct phone interviews with clients and extract the best parts of a story; will manage multiple tasks in social media like designing posts, writing the captions, posting, scheduling the posts ahead of time, understanding the analytics. In addition, intern will learn public relations strategies from the rest of the team and learn collaboration in teams.

Training:

the training will come from the principal of the organization. Intern will be exposed to working in teams, and thus will have training from all the staff and learn while collaborating. Once comfortable with the work, they will be mostly on their own receiving tasks and supervised by owner and a senior staff to receive feedback and recommendations before the work is given to clients to approve. It is hands on in order for intern to learn more than the basics and be prepared for an actual Job once they graduate.
