Asist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, xrays, suctioning, cleaning rooms and basic dental assisting.

Training:

Student will begin with a mandatory clinic orientation covering infection control protocols, PPE use, patient privacy(HIPAA).
Chairside assisting training include guided practice in passing instruments, suctioning, mixing dental materials.

Learning Outcome:

1.Assist the dentist during clinical procedures following proper protocols.
2.Apply infection control and sterilization procedures.
3.Take and process dental x- rays safely.
