As a nursing aide, you will be supported by nursing staff to assist patients with daily care, monitoring comfort and safety, and maintaining a clean and organized care environment.

Tasks:

Chart reviewing, vitals, shadowing, organization of medical supplies, meetings, journal noting.

Training:

Mandatory orientation, weekly meetings, job shadowing.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, students will be able to gain patient care experience, understand charting and vitals, and have a feel for being in a healthcare related environment.
