Opportunity Summary 

Candidate Attraction, Marketing & Employer Branding

  • Develop and execute recruitment marketing campaigns to attract qualified candidates across multiple talent channels.
  • Create compelling job advertisements, sourcing messages, email campaigns, and social media content that effectively market career opportunities.
  • Promote Total Warehouse's employer brand through LinkedIn, job boards, career sites, networking events, and talent communities.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify and communicate unique selling points of roles, departments, and career paths.
  • Develop targeted candidate outreach campaigns (email, InMail, text, and social engagement) designed to generate interest and increase response rates.
  • Research labor market trends, competitor hiring activity, and talent availability to improve recruiting strategies.

Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referral networks, and proactive sourcing techniques.
  • Execute targeted sourcing strategies for high-volume, specialized, and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Identify and engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and relationship-building efforts.
  • Cultivate long-term candidate relationships to establish future hiring pipelines.
  • Develop talent pools segmented by role type, geography, and skill set.

Candidate Experience & Public Relations

  • Serve as a primary ambassador for Total Warehouse throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicate the organization's culture, values, career growth opportunities, and competitive advantages to prospective candidates.
  • Ensure timely, professional, and engaging communication that creates a positive candidate experience.
  • Manage candidate touchpoints and maintain ongoing engagement throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Represent Total Warehouse professionally in all candidate interactions, networking events, career fairs, and recruiting initiatives.

Screening & Candidate Evaluation

  • Conduct resume reviews, phone screenings, and qualification assessments against defined job requirements.
  • Evaluate candidates for skills, experience, cultural alignment, and career aspirations.
  • Prepare structured candidate summaries and recommendations for hiring teams.
  • Coordinate interview processes and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers.

Recruiting Operations & Analytics

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking within the ATS (Paylocity).
  • Monitor recruiting funnel metrics, sourcing effectiveness, candidate engagement rates, and pipeline health.
  • Support reporting on recruiting KPIs, including time-to-fill, conversion rates, candidate response rates, and source effectiveness.
  • Analyze recruiting data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in candidate attraction and engagement.

Project & Strategic Support

  • Support workforce planning initiatives through market intelligence and talent availability research.
  • Recommend improvements to recruiting processes, candidate marketing strategies, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Assist with recruitment-related communications, career marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content.
  • Support special projects related to talent acquisition, employer reputation, and workforce growth.

Tasks:

The student will perform professional and pre-professional marketing, public relations, employer branding, and talent attraction activities that require critical thinking, communication, research, analysis, project management, and strategic decision-making.

* Design and execute recruitment marketing campaigns to promote career opportunities and strengthen Total Warehouse's employer brand.

* Create and refine employment marketing content including job advertisements, candidate communications, social media posts, email campaigns, and employer branding materials.

* Develop targeted candidate outreach strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent communities, and marketing automation tools.

* Conduct labor market research and competitive analysis to identify talent trends, candidate behaviors, and employer branding opportunities.

* Analyze recruitment marketing data, candidate engagement metrics, campaign effectiveness, and sourcing results to make recommendations for improvement.

* Partner with hiring managers to identify and communicate compelling employment value propositions, career growth opportunities, and organizational culture messages.

* Build and maintain talent pipelines by proactively identifying, attracting, and engaging prospective candidates through strategic marketing and relationship-building techniques.

* Participate in the development of employer branding initiatives designed to increase awareness of Total Warehouse as an employer of choice.

* Create professional presentations, recruiting materials, and promotional content for use in hiring campaigns, networking events, career fairs, and workforce development initiatives.

* Conduct candidate interviews and communication activities while serving as a brand ambassador for the organization.

* Evaluate the effectiveness of various recruiting channels and marketing campaigns using key performance indicators and recruiting analytics.

* Assist with workforce planning projects by researching talent availability, labor market conditions, and competitive hiring practices.

* Develop audience-specific messaging strategies for different candidate populations, skill sets, and geographic markets.

* Participate in recruiting strategy meetings and contribute recommendations regarding talent attraction, candidate engagement, and employer branding efforts.

* Manage recruiting projects and campaigns from planning through execution while ensuring alignment with organizational hiring objectives.

* Present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to recruiting leadership as part of ongoing professional development and business decision-making.

**Professional Work Percentage:** More than 90% of assigned duties involve professional-level responsibilities related to marketing, public relations, recruiting strategy, employer branding, data analysis, communications, project management, research, and business operations. Administrative duties will be limited and incidental to the learning experience.

Training:

The student will receive structured training, mentoring, and hands-on experience designed to support learning in recruitment marketing, employer branding, public relations, and strategic communications.

New Employee Orientation
* Complete a comprehensive orientation covering Total Warehouse's business operations, company culture, organizational structure, products and services, safety requirements, and professional expectations.
* Review employer branding standards, communication guidelines, and recruiting processes.

Weekly One-on-One Mentor Meetings
* Participate in scheduled meetings with the Recruiting Manager and HR leadership to review goals, discuss projects, receive coaching, and connect daily work activities to marketing and public relations concepts.
* Receive feedback on campaign effectiveness, communication strategies, and professional development.

Job Shadowing & Cross-Functional Exposure
* Shadow recruiters, hiring managers, and HR leaders to observe talent acquisition, employer branding, candidate engagement, and workforce planning activities.
* Attend recruiting strategy meetings and hiring discussions to understand business needs and target audience development.

Recruitment Marketing & Employer Branding Training
* Receive training on LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media recruiting, candidate attraction strategies, employer branding, and talent pipeline development.
* Learn how to create compelling job advertisements, candidate outreach campaigns, and employer-focused messaging.

Communication & Public Relations Development
* Gain experience creating professional communications for candidates, employment marketing campaigns, social media content, and recruiting materials.
* Learn effective audience targeting, message development, brand positioning, and relationship-building techniques.

Market Research & Analytics Training
* Conduct labor market research, competitor analysis, and talent availability studies.
* Learn how to measure candidate engagement, source effectiveness, campaign performance, and recruiting metrics to support data-driven decision making.

Project-Based Learning
* Complete hands-on projects involving candidate sourcing campaigns, employer branding initiatives, recruiting content creation, and talent attraction strategies.
* Review work samples and receive ongoing coaching to strengthen marketing, communications, and public relations skills.

This training plan provides a combination of formal instruction, mentoring, observation, and applied project work to ensure achievement of the stated learning outcomes while providing meaningful exposure to marketing, public relations, employer branding, and talent acquisition practices.
