Regenerative Farm Development - Regenerative 68! FarmAt — Regenerative California (RegenCA)

Regenerative California is working to demonstrate regenerative economies, one that adds health to
the land and communities as opposed to being extractive. One way Regenerative California is
working to do this is by establishing a regenerative farm. This farm will model a holistic system that
improves food nutrient density, increased soil carbon sequestration and water retention; through
increasing biodiversity, minimizing soil disturbance, and rotating crops. This farm also provides
leases to small and mid-sized farmers who often struggle for land access.

Students will assist in establishing a three-acre regenerative agriculture demonstration site primarily
through the establishment of permanent raised beds, planting and monitoring cover crops, and
collecting and analyzing preliminary soil health data. This opportunity is a great way to take part in
the establishment of a long-term regenerative farm that will serve as a training and demonstration
site for years to come.

• Monitoring diseases and insect pest populations
• Surveying weed species
• Surveying beneficial insect populations
• Monitoring pollinator habitat

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Pre-training safety protocols
• Students will need to get themselves to the farm
