Opportunity Summary 

The Homeless To Forever Foundation (HTFF) is seeking motivated students for a hands-on grant research and writing opportunity. You will research potential funding sources and help draft grant proposals to directly support our non-profit animal rescue programs. Gain valuable experience in professional writing, strategic communication, and non-profit development while making a meaningful impact for animals in need.

Opportunity Training 

HTFF provides orientation to our mission, active programs, and strategic funding goals. Students are trained on how to navigate grant research databases, screen for eligibility, and read/use our established proposal templates.

Throughout the opportunity, you will receive

  • direct 1-on-1 mentorship
  • regular draft reviews
  • constructive feedback to refine your professional grant writing and research skills
Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

While this opportunity offers flexible work hours set by the student, success depends on the participant's initiative and self-discipline. Students must manage their schedules effectively to meet project milestones while maintaining regular communication with their site supervisor.
